Sunday 19th February 2006

Hi,

Well its Sunday, the quietest day of the week. Awoke this morning. Read the news articles in my photography magazines. Then read a couple of articles in relation to research that I am doing for coursework. Before I finally got up proper, had a wash fed the cats, went to the supermarket. Came home and havent done much apart from put the dishwasher on and read another article. Checked my emails though. Texted the gf who is being sick again....as usual, i think its the chocolate myself, she is diabetic and shouldn't be eating it. Wonder if she will ever come up here again?

My eye is recovering still. The rest of me is almost back to normal.

Thought: Blogs should be filled in every day. I try to do mine as often as I can remember. It isnt easy though. As you can see by looking at the dates of some of my posts lately. Still if I get to 75 posts I will post a photograph I have taken somewhere.

Website: My choice, well from a list I continuously add too is http://www.alicebot.org - allows you to create your own chat bot and even subscribe to some.

Have a look and let me know what you think.

Thank you and have fun.

Saturday 18th February 2006

Hi,

Well its been another fun, busyish week.

Wednesday: Another really busy day at work. Got home, didnt do much. Maybe a little coursework reasearch and of course spoke to the gf on the phone.

Thursday: Another really busy day at work. Strangely busy. The workmen have almost finished the outside of the building. Paths in stead of a mudpit. Soon be nice and tidy. Came home, had a rest, then went to uni for an hour to do little research. Got back home, spoke to the gf on the phone apparently she is at her brother's now.

Friday: A quieter day at work today. Came home. Didn't do too much. Ste rang and asked if i wanted to play footie over at Lilleshall - the national sports centre. So i went round to my sisters after picking up my half brother and my brother-in-law gave us a lift to the footie. I ended up on a team with lots of players i didnt know up front. Hardly got any service whatsoever due to the defence and midfield forgetting which way the ball should go. lost 3-0. Oh well. Still, my sister had prepared a nice light salad for when we got back. Came home and went to bed. I had managed to make byself sore and got a black eye when the football had smacked me in the eye after attempting to header it.

Today: Well i couldnt put my left contact lens in. My eye was very sore. I have put some drops in it. Got my brother to drive to Bridgnorth. I bought some veg, a couple of magazines, one on linux and the other on photography. I have spent most of the day trying to get my installation of linux on my other pc working. It works, just cant get it on the internet. Have spoken to my gf too. Watched a bit of telly and thats about it. Local footie team won. phew!!!

I have a couple of websites for you today. http://www.mybitoftheplanet.com - a diary about birds. http://www.linuxformat.co.uk - home of the linux format magazine in the UK. For those who dont know, Linux is an operating system. Requires a more technical knowledge.

Anyways let me know what you think.

Have fun and regards.

Sunday 12th February 2006

Hi,

Crikey five days since my last post. Here goes and what a week it has been.

Wednesday: Work was busy. Had to do a lot of things. Not been out on the bike today. Went to uni to do a little research then home. Spoke to the gf and had a few things put out in the open.

Thursday: Work was again busy, boss was out on a health and safety work round most of the day. Didnt take the bike out at lunchtime. Spoke to the gf and told her i was going down to Cardiff Friday night. Packed for weekend trip to Cardiff.

Friday: Work was very busy. In fact I finished 20mins later than i was hoping. I then drove down to Cardiff to see my gf after getting some diesel....pricey stuff here in the UK. Took just over to hours to get there. I drove quite slow for me. lol. I did get stuck on the M5 at the junction with the M42. That was it. It was really easy after that. Got to Cardiff. Spoke to my gf. Got stuff out of the car and sorted out the bed. Her nephew was there too. I didnt sleep too well.

Saturday: Well in Cardiff i hadn't slept well. Me and my gf spent the next two hours talking etc before I managed to get a shower and then have some breakfast. Took her nephew to Penarth park to ride his bike. Weren't there long as the gf got a bit upset with over something I said. She is pregnant and it makes her a tad more emotional than usual. Ended up going back to her mums house. Spent the rest of the day in watching a DVD, cwching up on the sofa and playing football in her mums hallway with her nephew. I lost. :( Had mash and Clarke's pie for tea. Quite nice. This was after we had eaten crisps and chocolate in the afternoon. We felt better after some more talking. When we went to bed I slept better, although the gf was the opposite and slept worse.

Today: Well I got up around 9ish and had a shower. Had some cereal for breakfast and a mug of tea. My gf Wend told me her mum had said we can't stay there together after we didnt respect her wishes and sleep in seperate beds. I was not too impressed. I now she is old fashioned but... anyways. I said goodbye to her nephew and my gf walked out to the car with me before my long drive back. I did stop for petrol before leaving Cardiff. Got back just after midday. It was an uneventful drive untill i got about a mile from home. My car did a 180 degree turn at 15mph at a traffic island. After mentioning this to my brother he said that island was a bit dangerous. No kidding. I have vacummed the living room since i have been back, got some shopping and done a tiny bit of studying.

The website for today is http://www.flasharcade.com - free games. :)

Go on have a look.

Let me know what you think.

Thank you and take care.

Tuesday 7th Febuary 2006

Hi,

Well its been a week since my last post. Not too much has happened but here goes:

Wednesday: Work on earlies. Quiet a busy day and not much happened. Results at uni begin to show. Went out on the bike for a total of approx 4-6miles with my colleague, it was cold

Thursday: Work on earlies again, another busy day. Went out on the bike again covering the same distance. It was very cold again. The canal path is flat so its relatively easy if uneven in places.

Friday. Work on earlies. Slightly less busy. Just got distracted today and didnt go out on the bike. People wanted work doing that required more thought than i realised. At least the weekend is here. Got a B in one of my modules at uni. :)

Saturday. Went to Cardiff to see my gf. Apparently she is pregnant. 4 months. Havent seen her much in the last three months so you can imagine some of my relatives think there are questionmarks over the father. Anyways, went to Penarth in the evening and she told me she could lose the baby in the next two months while she has some laser treatment for a stomach problem. Its 50/50. She has to have a scan every week. She had been buying baby clothes and a cot already. Apparently she doesnt want her mum to know about the problem bit. Spent the afternoon watching Wales get beat by england in the rugby round her brother's. Didnt win the lottery. Oh well.

Sunday. Came home in the afternoon after my gf cooked dinner for me, her and her mum. It was a bit strange, cause she didnt kiss me goodbye, as she went to wait for her brother as that is where she has been staying. Seemed very strange to me. Wouldnt let me give her a lift round the corner. Came home. Went to my mum and told her and got GBH of the earhole asking if if it was mine and mum saying she doesnt believe her about being ill and that. Although i did learn that my gf's water infections are caused by eating things she aint supposed to being that she is diabetic. Stressed out. My mum asked me if it was mine.

Monday. Quite a busy day. Told my colleague about the pregnancy, he too asked me if it was mine. It can get quite depressing when people keep asking you that. Was on my legs so long at work, that when i went to uni they were like jelly. Still I think it seems good to be back at uni, even though there was a lot on my mind. Think i am going down with a cold.

And today. Went to work this morning once I eventually found my housekeys. Was feeling slightly better than i did last night. Things seem a little calmer too. Went to uni and found i may not have the correct prerequisites for tonight's module. I am sureI can do the work though. So i shall check my emails to see if I have queried it.

And for a website. http://www.polymorphic-music.co.uk/ - ermmm this site doesnt seem easy to find the music. Let me know what you think.

Have fun and thank you.
