Hi all,

Well another morning. The gf is having a small op today. It should solve her back and stomach pain problems she has been having of late.

Did a tiny bit of studying last night.

My website for this post is http://www.webdesignref.com which is a website that accompanies a Web Design book. I rate this site 4 out 5 for its clarity and simplicity of use. Although it does lack some content. If you are building a website get the book by Thomas Powell and use this website as an afterthought to the book.

Hi,

Well 2005 is nearly over.

Christmas eve was fun. Had to go to two supermarkets to get a Christmas pudding. At least my home town as Merry Christmas up in lights unlike previous years.... bloody political correctness.

Hope you all had a good Christmas. I had a couple of pc games, an xbox game, a large tea mug, a book, some chocs and smellies and some other bits and pieces. My gf got OCC wallet, and black widow bike model, a robopet....how many triple A's... lol and some other bit and pieces. It was an ok day. Didnt have lunch round my mums for the first time in my 35years. I cooked lunch with a chicken. Did a really good job. surprise surprise.

For boxing day, round me mums and sorting out PC maintenance.

Today, been round my sisters, as i was supposed to play squash with my brother-in-law. Nowhere open. Will try again tomorrow.

Well another warm winter morning.

No news this morning. Well the brother-in-laws father was on telly this morning extolling the virtues of my home town Wolverhampton. Its good for being a small compact city but thats about it.

Hi,

Just thought I'd post a thought and a website.

Live8 in Hyde Park: was just reminded by a TV program about it. I was there with my gf. :) It was great. The crowd liked the clip of Bon Jovi, but that was only beaten by Robbie Williams performance on stage....I can only say it was outstanding. It was a bit emotional at times. It may have been a long walk to and from the car park but I enjoyed the day. Long may it's effects continue. The website is www.live8live.com

The website of choice for this post is http://2inventive.com - has some flash games. Again it scores 3 out of 5 as the site could be much more clearer. You may need to register first but it looks free.

Well its Wednesday morning. Christmas is fast approaching. Hypocrites are still running the UK and US.

My gf is due back today.

The website of the day is http://www.pangloss.com/seidel/shaker - gives shakespeare quotes, well insults from his works. It is simple to use. the homepage www.pangloss.com has other references you may wish to look at. It is a simple site. May not be as clearly laid out as it could be. Therefore I rate it 3 out of 5. Go on have a look, especially at the first link :)

Already been reading my photography and web magazines. Off to work in a bit. The gf is due back later. Yippeeeeee!!!

My website for today/this morning is http://www.northyorkmoors.com - a website about the North Yorkshire Moors in the UK. It is a relatively simple website with lots of photographs and good descriptions of many walks around the area including photographs. I rate this site 3 our of 5. It good be a little easier to use but overall the links further down the home page are self explanatory.

Hi.

I have just gotten up and can hardly see witrhout my contacts in. The gf is now due back tomorrow. I will believe it when i see her given the last few weeks.

My wesbite for today is http://www.yousendit.com - this is a file sending website, eg music, photos etc. It allows you to send them to one or more email addresses. This website has a simple easy to follow design although I do think anything in a green fonts could be in a larger font.

Hi,

Well another quietish weekend of shopping i cant really afford but still.... the trip to Bridgnorth was worth it for the new Severn Valley Railway mug. I like mugs....tea, coffee, cappucino holders. lol

Went to the local supermarket this morning. Nothing special, no cheap packs of xmas cards :( oh well.

The gf is in Cardiff looking after her one nephew while the other has medical treatment. The outlook is ok, fingers crossed though. She should be home tomorrow.

My website for today is about software usability. It is Jakob Nielsen's http://www.useit.com - too much amusement amongst my fellow uni students this is badly designed.

Well another week of work completed. Two xmas meals. Ton of shopping done. And the girlfriend was up for the first time in just over two weeks. Well for two days anywany and is due back tomorrow or Sunday.

I had a job interview today at work. It started 90mins late because the interviewers were behind. I think i fluffed it. I was nervy and i tried to think of everything off the top of my head. I need to make better use of my memories and write them down more. Still at least i asked a good few questions. Speaking of work, my colleague was back today from illness.

Hello,

Long time since my last post.

Work is ok and got an interview next week.

Uni is going ok but doesnt seem as interesting as i thought it might have been.

My link for this post is: http://www.makemovies.co.uk about making animated movies and gives some nice examples which are fun to lok through. It is a fairly simple site to use so even if your a novice to the web then you shouldnt find it difficult to use. Take a peek I think it is fairly unique.

I shall post my own website when i get round to removing my uni work from it.
