Last two days

Hi there readers,

Well its been a quiet couple of days.

First, the picture is of a train I think it was approaching Barmouth from across the estuary. Please let me know what you think of it.

Yesterday. Cycled to and from work as usual. Work was quiet. Nothing interesting to note other than there was a postal strike yesterday.

Today, just been reading magazine articles and listening to music. Thats it really. Very quiet. Must go shopping in the morning for food and put the washing machine on.

Rant: The weather, now we have had to much rain :( Hope it stops next week and July warms up a little.

Still skint and single. :(

Two websites today are http://www.forestofbowland.com/ - a place in the UK. And http://www.gpstraining.co.uk/ which again is self explanatory. Let me know what you think of these sites. Thank you.

Off to bed now. night night all.

Thursday 28th June 2007

Hi there readers,

Well another day another pound. I have a stuffy nose today.

The picture today is of a road junction in Alnmouth. This is the railway station you go to if travelling by train to Alnwick Castle(Hogwarts). You then need to catch a bus to Alnwick.

Rant: Oh yeah, a Tory MP defected to Labour - what a snivelling shit he is. Talk about a suck up. There should now be a by-election in his consistuency as he was voted in as a Tory candidate. He his obviously a self-serving hypocrite.

Anyways as for my day, i cycled to and from work. Work was steady and quiet. Nothing to say other than one of our more favoured colleagues is leaving in a couple of weeks :( Oh well.

Read some magazine articles since getting home and read my email. Thats about it really.

Two websites for you: http://www.privatespaces.org/ - website of an american photographer. It also works in Firefox and then there is http://www.teva.co.uk/ walking/hiking footwear. This too also works in Firefox.

Let me know what you think of these sites.

Thank you.

Wednesday 27th June 2007

Hi there readers,

Hope you are well.

The picture today was taken on the campsite in Wales i stayed at last year. It includes a rainbow. :) Not a brilliant picture but worth uploading here.

As for my day, well I cycled to work in the dry and cycled home in the drizzle. :( Work was normal today. Boss was out of the office today. :) Thats it really nothing interesting happened apart from someone saying she knew someone who works at Westminster in London who claims the UKs new prime minister is bisexual at least. Apparently his best friend is also a gay MP. Should prove interesting if this information has any ounce of truth to it as he his married. Apparently the lying labour party(inflation under control - my foot) have swept it under the carpet. Does seem strange but then stranger things have happened.

Anyways, when I got home, I read my emails, slept for half an hour(was really sleepy at work today). Thats about it really. I did pop out to the supermarket.

Two websites for you today are http://www.lcc.org.uk/ - the London cycling campaign website and http://www.getmethere.co.uk/ route maps etc for the UK.

I am off to bed now. Good night and post again soon. :)

Tuesday 26th June 2007a

Hi there readers,

I suspect I put the wrong date on yesterdays post. Ooooops. Silly me.

Still skint and single. However I can read up on photography.

The picture is taken on the Ffestiniog railway last year while on holiday, just after we got back to the tent I started feeling ill.

Anyways, today, I have been to work on my mountain bike. It was an interesting day. Colour printer broke again today. :( Still at least it was being fixed when I left. Had to help move some people to their new office. Well their computer equipment anyway. Then I came home.

Am about to sit down and watch CSI. Their is nothing I have done this after noon apart from polish the fireplace and put the dishwasher on and read some more magazine articles.

Two websites today are http://www.chortle.co.uk/ a guide to comedy in the UK and http://www.thorpepark.co.uk/ the website for Thorpe Park an amusement park. Let me know what you think of these websites.

Thank you and catch you laters.

Tuesday 25th June 2007

Hi there readers, :)

Another post - 2 in two days :) I remembered today.

The picture is of a train going through a tunnel at Dawlish.

As for today, got up half 5 this morning. Had breakfast, got washed and dressed and then cycled to work in all my waterproofs. It was raining but not as bad as it could have done. I got to work, it was a quiet if fun day. A machine went funny, then corrected itself, only for the engineer to turn up and find something wrong. I think he was hoping for an early finish rofl.

I then left work, and cycled home without my waterproofs on. Although it started to rain by the time I reached town.

At home I watched Hot Fuzz on dvd, very entertaining if not all that funny. At least it didn't send me to sleep like most other movies seem too. I also read articles from magazines on photography, steam trains, internet and cycling. Nothing on TV I really wanted to watch tonight although I did watch it while eating my tea.

I am still skint and single.

Two websites for you today are; http://www.cocktail.uk.com/ - where you can get cocktail recipes. Always good for a party. I do have one quibble and that is they could have made more use of the left hand side of the page and larger text size. The second website is http://www.a9.com/ - who are innovators in search technologies apparently. Take a look at both of these sites and let me know what you think.

Thank you. :)

Last Couple of weeks

Hi there readers,

I really am having trouble keeping this up. I will get back into the swing of it....eventually :( just may take longer than I thought.

Hope you are all well. I still single. I currently have a stuffy nose and sore lower back although I think my kidneys may have some kind of inflamation or irritation which could be something I eat. :( Oh well. Hope it all gets sorted out soon.

The picture on the right was taken from Dinas Oleu above Barmouth overlooking the estuary. Let me know what you think of the picture. Thank you.

Since my last post I have been working same old job as before. The week before last was busy and last week was quiet. I have gotten a bit fed up with it now. There seems to be loads of 'fraudulent' suck ups getting jobs they shouldn't. Seems some bosses are abusing their power. So much for fair play. hummmph!!!

Last sunday was Father's day here in England and went round me mum's and gave stepfather his present. The Friday just gone was one of my niece's birthday and so went round there and gave her a present which my mum suggested I get only she had already bought it. Doh!!!! Oh well.

Yesterday, had half-brother's round as one does two hours in my garden every other week, Myself and the other one went to a shop to get him a Nunchuck as I found one for him online. :)

Then we all went to Telford with the older of the two driving in his car. All ok down the motorway there. I had a sore head when I cam out of Telford shopping centre - first time I have been there in years. Oh and if you buy anything from HMV there make sure they swipe the security tag as ASDA's things go off when you enter the store. That is a pain. My half brother put them in his car. Left to come home. Coming down the M54 some idiots who think they own the road in a Merc 4 by 4 type vehicle which is black and i think reg is MDH 5, decided even though they were hundreds of yards behind to tailgate my half brother as he was overtaking a lorry. They literally appeared out of nowhere obviously ingorant to other road users. They flashed my brother, and I gave them the bird. If the UK government will let these irresponsible idiots on the road the accident rate is going to shoot up.

Anyways, got home, I spent more than i intended especially on lunch. And dont think i did much after that as I had a sore head.

Today, back to my local ASDA for some things I forgot yesterday. Oh well, Done some washing, and put the dishwasher on. Made my tea and chatted online. That is it really. Off to bed in a minute.

First a couple of websites for you. The first is http://www.sharpreader.com/ is an RSS/Atom aggregator - possibly reader. Take a look and see if you can clarify it. The other is http://www.websitepros.com/ - some company that specialises in web marketing.

Let me know what you think of these sites.

Thank you. :)

8 days upto 11th June 2007

Hi there,

Well its been a quiet old week really. Still single.

Work - busy but quiet. Apparently the company I work for is seemingly to be sold off.

Home, quiet and quieter still. I did manage to watch the 4th Harry Potter movie on DVD the weekend. Did loads of washing and went to the shops twice. Was going to cycle part of the4 Shropshire Union canal but couldn't find the right cycle pump. The one that fits both my bike and bag or pannier on the back of the bike. Oh and as its a canal I thought it was open to cyclists all the way along. How wrong the research proved me. hmmm. Still.... on earlies this week and still cycling to work.

Rant: One labour prat goes and in comes another incompetent. why oh why can't most British voters see these idiots for what they really are.......crap!!! Still hopefully they will mess up the next couple of years and they will get kicked out. I was going to also say that the two parents who went to a restaurant and left their child at 'home' who later got abducted seem to be getting a massive amount of attention. If I was social services I would be having words with them when they come back. Something isnt right there at all. And one mother I know thinks they are hiding something.

And a website. Try http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/ and let me know what you think especially their customer service. I haven't used them to buy anything yet.

Thats it for now.

Byeeee post again soon.

This week

Hi there readers,

Awww, its been a week since my last post :( Keep forgetting....will eventually remember to fill it in more often.

I have been to work this week everyday except Monday which was a bank holiday here in the UK. I took the train to Dawlish for a day trip. It was a breezy day and dry down in Dawlish. I had a cornish pasty for lunch, then went for a wander doing a little trainspotting. I heard rumours of a steam train. So I did wait around a bit. I then after a walk, had fish and chips with the biggest piece of Haddock I had seen. It was over a foot long. Yum!!! lol. Then I waited around a bit more, before getting the train to Exeter where I had to change. There was another reason for leaving Dawlish as the wind was upsetting my eyes and with contact lenses in they were getting a bit sore. Anyways at Exeter I got a coffee and waited around, missed a couple of trains to see if this steam train was due! It turned up eventually and I did get some photos. I will post one eventually. I eventually got the train home, a direct one from Exeter. It was 15mins late getting into Wolverhampton due to some kids playing on the railway line near birmingham. Have these kids no intelligence? One hit from a train and they would be dead. The same thing happened 8 days earlier on the same trip. Stupid idiots.

The photo attached is from last year and taken from Dinas Oleu at Barmouth looking across the estuary to Morfa Mawdach. Let me know what you think.

As for the rest of the week it was work and I was on earlies. Wasn't in a too impressed mood though. I cycled to and from work every day. I have finished uni though and just awaiting my results. Wont be telling my boss though!!! I will look for a new job now though.

Yesterday, Saturday, went to ASDA with my half brother via Focus, :( spent more than intended. Still... my other half-brother did two hours in the garden. Then I went with my brother and cousin to a pub called the Station in Codsall for a couple of beers and something to eat, well cheeseburger and curly fries.

And today...not a lot!!! Will post later if I end up doing anything.

A website for you today. Do you like Albatrosses? Try http://www.savethealbatross.net/ - a website trying to save the albatross. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Thank you. :)
